Block layout settings
How many columns one block spans inside a grid section.
Last updated About 7 hours ago
Block layout settings appear on blocks inside grid-mode sections — Multicolumn, Collage, Image with text, and similar. They control how wide a single block sits in the row.
Make a block span more columns
- Open the section (Multicolumn is the most common).
- Confirm Desktop layout is Grid.
- Select the block.
- Under Block layout settings, raise Desktop column count (1–8 depending on section).
A value of 2 spans two columns; the rest of the row reflows around it.
Set mobile width
Mobile column count — 1 or 2. Only applies when Mobile layout is Grid.
One column is safer for text-heavy blocks; two works for small image tiles.
When you will not see these settings
Block layout options hide when the section uses a Slideshow layout on that breakpoint — the section scrolls as a carousel instead of a grid.
Other settings
Section-level column counts are in Layout settings. Image framing within blocks uses Aspect ratio settings.
