Product recommendations

The Product recommendations section uses Shopify’s recommendations API — it learns from order history and product data over time. Add it to the Product template (or other allowed templates) below the main product information.

Control the product count

Number of items — how many recommended products to show (0–50; 0 uses the default). Recommendations update as Shopify gathers more store data.

Set the layout

• Desktop layout and Mobile layout — Grid or Slideshow (both default to slideshow).
• Desktop column count — 1–8; Mobile column count — 1 or 2.

Slideshow settings — animation speed, autoplay, loop, navigation, and pagination.

Style the cards

Card settings — Image aspect ratio for desktop and mobile. Other product card behavior (quick view, hover image, swatches, badges) comes from Theme settings > Product cards — see Product cards.

Other settings

Show header for a “You may also like” title. Color scheme, Padding settings, Visibility settings, and Width settings.
