Product information
The main section of your product page: the gallery on one side, and everything else — title, price, variants, buy buttons — built from blocks.

Product information is the primary section on the product page template. To edit it, open the theme editor, switch to a product template using the page selector at the top, and select Product information in the sidebar.
Choose your gallery layout
The biggest decision is the Desktop gallery style, under Gallery settings:
- Two columns — the classic layout: gallery on one side, product details on the other. The details stay in view (sticky) while visitors scroll through the images.
- Full width — the gallery spans the whole page as a large slider, with product details around it. A more editorial look that gives imagery maximum space.
Each style has its own options once selected.
Two columns options
- Gallery width — how much of the page the gallery takes, as a percentage.
- Gallery type — how images are arranged: a single column, a single column with the first image enlarged, a two-column grid, or a slider.
- Gallery height — Natural lets images take their full size; Fit scales them so each image fits the screen.
- Desktop gallery position — gallery on the left or right.
- Show thumbnails — adds small image previews for jumping around the gallery.
Full width options
- Slides per view — Auto sizes slides based on the images and their natural aspect ratios, for example, if you mix landscape and portrait images in the product gallery, they will show up as landscape and portrait; Fixed shows a set number of slides at a time and can force the image to a specific aspect ratio to fit.
- Each block in the section gets a Show above the fold checkbox: checked blocks appear with the gallery at the top of the page, unchecked ones move below it. A typical split is title, price, variants, and buy buttons above; description and accordions below.
Build your product details from blocks
Everything next to the gallery is a block — add, remove, and reorder them freely. The essentials are Title, Price, Variant selector, and Buy buttons; beyond those you can add things like Description, Accordion (for shipping or care info), Benefits, Unique selling point, Complementary products, Pickup availability, Testimonial, and more. Each block has its own short article in the Blocks collection.
💡 Tip: To add a sticky buy bar that follows visitors down the page, open the Buy buttons block and enable Show sticky bar on scroll.
Control how variant images behave
When a customer picks a variant, Gallery variant image style decides what the gallery does:
- Default — the gallery jumps to that variant's image.
- None — the gallery doesn't react to variant changes.
- Variant only — the gallery shows only the images for the selected variant.
📝 Note: For any of this to work, each variant needs an image assigned in the Shopify admin — see How to assign variant images.
