Card settings

Card appearance is set at three levels: Theme settings (defaults), section Card settings (override for that section), and individual blocks (product/banner blocks in Multicolumn, etc.).

Theme-level defaults

Theme settings card groups:

• All cards — Default image fallback when a card has no image.
• Article cards — aspect ratio, mobile ratio, caption (author/date), text display, badge tags.
• Collection cards — aspect ratios and text display.
• Product cards — full behavior doc in Product cards.
• Testimonial cards — image ratios in Testimonial cards.

Section overrides

Many sections include a Card settings group with Use theme setting as the first option on aspect ratio and text fields. Pick a specific ratio or text mode to override defaults for that section only — common on Featured collection, Collection, Blog content, and Search results.

Block-level overrides

Product blocks inside Multicolumn, Page content sidebar, and similar can override card style per block. Banner and blog blocks carry their own display settings.

Other settings

Banner/card colors come from the section's Color scheme — see Colors. Card heading font is under Theme settings > Fonts > Card headings.
