How do I switch the theme's style preset?

Homage ships with style presets that reset theme settings to a curated starting point. Your sections, blocks, and page content stay as they are.

Switch presets

  1. Open the theme editor.
  2. Click Theme settings in the sidebar.
  3. At the top, open Change theme style.
  4. Choose a preset — Homage (default) or Embrace (alternate demo styling with its own homepage, collection, product, blog, and content templates in the preset package).
  5. Preview the storefront, tweak individual settings if needed, and click Save.

Before you switch

Changing presets overwrites theme settings for the active preset — colors, fonts, cart options, card defaults, and similar. It does not remove or rearrange sections on your templates.

Duplicate the theme first if you want a backup of your current settings (Online Store > Themes > … > Duplicate).

Other settings

Presets don't affect Shopify admin content (products, collections, pages). After switching, review Navigation, Product cards, and Colors — those are the groups most visibly changed by a preset.
