Embed a YouTube, Vimeo, or Shopify-hosted video with optional caption and playback controls.

Add your video

  1. Paste a Video service URL (YouTube or Vimeo), or upload a Shopify-hosted video — the upload takes priority if both are set.
  2. Optionally add a Poster image shown before playback starts.
  3. Set Max video width if you want to cap size on large screens.

Control playback

  • Autoplay video — starts on load; pair with Mute video so browsers allow it.
  • Loop video and Show video player controls as needed.

In Hero and Video with text, also set Aspect ratio and Aspect ratio (mobile).

Other settings

Caption — Caption text, position, size, and alignment. Overlay color and Overlay gradient for text legibility. Alignment (desktop) and Alignment (mobile). In Multicolumn, Collage, and Marquee, Desktop column count and Mobile column count control how wide the block spans. Visibility settings. On the product page, Show above the fold moves the block up on full-width gallery layouts.
