Overview

Adding apps is one of the easiest ways to expand your store’s features and functionality. Our themes are fully compatible with the latest apps, so you get a modern and powerful setup right from the start.

💡 Tip: Apps make it possible to add new features to your store, and our themes fully support all the latest app integrations for a seamless experience.

Installing apps

Adding new apps is simple. You can do this either through the App Store or with a direct install link from an app developer. If you want to install a custom app, you will need a unique link provided by the developer.

Troubleshooting apps

  • Here we need to say that if an app does not work with any of our themes, people should reach out to the app support first

  • Then if app support says that they need some extra information or help from us (the theme developer), put us in touch via email

Install an app through the App Store

Follow these steps to add an app from the App Store:

  1. Log in to the App Store.

  2. Search for the app you want to install and select it.

  3. On the app listing page, click Add app.

  4. When prompted in your admin, click Install app to authorize the installation.

After installation, you will find your new app in the Apps section of your admin dashboard.

Install an app with a third-party install link

Some app developers provide unique install links for their apps. There are important details to keep in mind when using these links.

  1. Third-party install links will only work for apps created before December 5, 2019.

    1. If you try to use a third-party link for a newer app, you will see an error and the app cannot be installed.

If you have a third-party link:

  1. Get the install link from the developer’s website and click it.

  2. In your admin, click Install app to approve the installation.

🚧 Caution: If you install an app using a third-party link, you may see a warning that the app is not from the App Store. This does not always mean the app is unsafe, but these apps have not completed the official approval process. Always make sure you trust the app developer before proceeding.
